The Lung in AIDS

Abstract


AIDS has assumed epidemic proportions. The lungs are commonly involved and recurrent infections wiih opportunistic organisms occur. These are relatively refractory to eradication. Newer agents have had some limited success against these organisms. A vaccine is currently under trial.
